How Modelleria Zanchettin Was Founded
The company was founded in 1968 by Pierino Zanchettin, initially producing handcrafted models made of wood, resin, and metal in various sizes for foundries.
The company grew and established itself in the region thanks to the experience it gained over the years; this, combined with a particular focus on the client’s requests and specifications, has led to a steady improvement in the quality of its products.
GENERATIONAL TRANSITION
The Company’s Evolution Over Time
After more than three decades in business, management of the company was handed over to their sons Enrico and Francesco, who decided to make a series of major investments to meet new market demands; in fact, in 2000, the company acquired its first CNC machine.
In 2008, in addition to celebrating its 40th anniversary, Modelleria Zanchettin went green. With the inauguration of its 68-kW photovoltaic system, the company’s eco-sustainability project—aimed at achieving environmentally friendly production that protects the environment—was successfully completed. Furthermore,industrialization has enabled the company to make inroads into the design sector, a demanding field that often relies onthe uniqueness of craftsmanship.

As it expanded into domestic and international markets, Modelleria Zanchettin has invested over the years in various CNC machines, acquiring an additional 5-axis machine in 2022, which has enabled the company to enterthe Industry 4.0 era
