WHO WE ARE
MODELLERIA ZANCHETTIN: A FAMILY BUSINESS
THE IDEA
The company was founded in 1968 by Pierino Zanchettin who, with a few collaborators, started a craft production of patterns for foundry of wood, resin and metals of various sizes. Over the years, the company has grown and consolidated its position in the fields of general mechanics, oil-hydraulics, motor engineering and furnishings, specialising in the production of patterns to direct order from foundries or construction companies.
The distinctive mark is its particular attention to the requests and indications of the customer. This allows from the very beginning to reduce to a minimum the changes during the work in order to better meet the needs by reducing delivery times and containing costs.

GENERATIONAL CHANGE
After more than thirty years of activity, the founder’s sons Enrico and Francesco took over the company management. They decided to start a series of important investments to meet the new market needs. In 1991 Modelleria Zanchettin moved to its current premises and in 2000 it was equipped with the first numerical control machine. Despite the increase of orders and the expansion of the machine park, the company has kept its artisanal vocation unchanged. Alongside 3D technology and modern numerical control milling machines, the company has continued to carry out patterns with traditional methods, guaranteeing the manual finishing of all the models produced.
THE ENVIRONMENT AND PROJECTS FOR THE FUTURE
In 2008 the company celebrated its 40 years of activity and, at the same time, inaugurated the new 68 KW photovoltaic system that crowned the project of producing while protecting the environment. Opening up to national markets, Modelleria Zanchettin has invested in five numerically controlled machines over the years and it takes advantage of the collaboration of more than fifteen professionals, who are the custodians of artisan know-how, which continues to guarantee the quality of the models designed and manufactured.
Industrialization has not replaced the artisan skills that allow the company to conquer the design sector, a demanding field that often resorts to the uniqueness of manual processing.
